Final Photographs

I have taken my final photographs for my magazine, i narrowed it down to the photos, i have chosen to use in one of my photo geek glasses, these glasses are all in fashion now and will attract the age group i am aiming my magazine at 16-18 year olds  i the genre i have chosen pop. i had to arrange with the people who are in my photographs a suitable date,time  and location to take the photographs to make them a perfect image.

i planned for the girls to come to my house and planned and took the time to plan the makeup and there hair, all together it took 4-5 hours to get the shots how i would like them and all the makeup, their make up is just simple makeup subtle with reddish lipstick, and their hair just normal on the first photo and big on the second photo for a different look.

Draft Photographs

i have been taking draft pictures for my music magazine, i will be moving on to the images that i took time into doing out of school. These pictures are to represent a girl band of three. i have chosen three different poses i think are good and are going to re-take with costume and hair and make-up.

the generic conventions of my main task

For my main task i am creating a music magazine i will need to do the following to make it the best;

• house style 
• the mast head(logo)
• main image 
• main story 
• price and barcode
• date
• main cover lines
• banners
• direct adress
• celebrities names to attract attention
• extra cover lines to give more information.  

Reflection on pre lim task

in my prelim task i created a front cover and content page for a school magazine i think that i caught on to adobe photoshop quite quick because i found it quite hard at first i couldn't do some of the skills like the magic wand, and being able to insert other pictures from different photoshop documents but very quickly clicked on, i sill have lots of skills to learn, i also think i am good at taking out the background and
i found i struggled with the layout on the pages and couldn't seen to get right and it didn't look right. i managed with my time ok! doing the front cover and content page,not that good but i did everything before the deadlines.
 At editing on photo shop i am ok considering the first time i used it was making the magazine,i can only do the basic things.I think i sorted the shot out and composted it well, the miss en scene was ok because it was a school magazine their uniform was a suitable costume and the prop which was a drama mask was a good idea because it shows that it is a school too, the location was just a plain white wall and  was very easy to take it out.
